Murray crashed out of Wimbledon at the semi-final. Leaving Brits disappointed once again.

Well it looks like Britain’s not going to have a man on the final once again.
As you read this this editor is sitting not more than a couple of kilometers away from the action at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club and you can hear the collective sigh of despair rolling down the hill from Southfield to Wandsworth.
Yes, it’s the yearly ritual of feverish faith followed by the expected departure of the last remaining British hope in our very own game!! And this time we really thought he was going to get through to the final. Which would have been the first time since Fred Perry in 1936 and definitely a first for the Scots.
Roddick’s serves were impeccable and his touch at the net, so often his weakness, was rock solid.
I guess the only Brit who’s quite chuffed with the result is Tim Henman as the large hill behind the club, where all the fans gather to watch the action on the big screen will remain ‘Henman Hill’, instead of ‘Murray Mount’
